Description
The Assistant Testing Coordinator, under the direction of the Director is responsible for the coordination of the University’s testing programs that include the College Student Inventory (CSI), Second Year Student Assessment, the National Student Engagement Survey (NSSE), as well as the testing programs of Educational Testing Service (ETS), American College Testing (ACT), College Board, and accommodated testing for students with disabilities. The Coordinator will also support other program functions and duties assigned by the Director.
Examples of Duties
- Purchase of test material, planning and coordination of all facets associated with test administration, logistics and the coordination of consulting services to include retention conferences and webinars.
- Evaluation of high school records for the placement of Pre-College/Summer Bridge Students.
- Serve as a liaison between the University and testing organizations.
- Coordinate the administration of tests for students with disabilities.
- Ability to advise students and faculty regarding test selection and required scores for earning credit.
- Maintain records and track data.
- Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Typical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours to include weekends.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other data programs.
