What would you do as a Psych Care, LPN
As a Full-Time Psych. Care, LPN at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, you will play a key role in supporting our staff psychiatrist in prescribing, administering, and monitoring medications for clients. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine physical and mental health nursing assessments to ensure that each individual receives the appropriate treatment and medication support.
You'll provide supportive counseling, monitor medical needs, and, when necessary, administer methadone. You'll also conduct intake and follow-up interviews, complete physical assessments, perform drug and TB testing, and maintain detailed and accurate documentation.
