Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and feeding
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols while maintaining detailed medical documentation
- Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to assess health status
- Support specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice support, and tube feeding management
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling medical records securely
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed and updated regularly
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience in hospital settings or home & community care environments is advantageous
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology concepts, and medical documentation practices
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is a plus
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and medical records management is essential

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
