Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on building systems, machinery, and equipment to minimize downtime and extend lifespan.
- Assist with electrical repairs, including troubleshooting circuits using tools such as ohmmeters and reading schematics.
- Conduct welding and mechanical repairs on-site, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards.
- Support residential painting projects and general facilities maintenance to uphold property aesthetics and functionality.
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future tasks.
- Supervise or collaborate with contractors during specialized repair or installation projects, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents or staff and communicating effectively throughout the process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within manufacturing or residential settings.
- Strong electrical knowledge, including experience with schematics, wiring, circuits, and troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters.
- Skilled in welding techniques and mechanical repairs; ability to read technical drawings and schematics confidently.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated systems is a plus.
- Experience with CMMS software for work order management is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of residential painting techniques and general facilities upkeep.
- Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in overseeing maintenance projects or teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork.
- Ability to interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately.
