Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, polishing, and applying industrial floor care methods to ensure safety and aesthetics
- Assist with furniture arrangement, replenishing supplies, and organizing storage areas to promote efficiency and cleanliness
- Support housekeeping staff by handling laundry duties and restocking amenities as needed
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained in accordance with safety standards
- Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly
- Follow all health and safety protocols diligently to uphold sanitation standards across the property
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment and floor care techniques
- Background in hospitality or janitorial services demonstrating reliability and attention to detail
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper handling of cleaning tools
- Experience managing housekeeping tasks within a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings will be considered an asset
