We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Houseman to join our team. The primary responsibilities of a Houseman include cleaning and maintaining all public areas of a hotel or resort, assisting housekeeping staff with cleaning guest rooms, and providing excellent customer service to guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities: - Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel or resort, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms- Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning and preparing guest rooms for arrival- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust all surfaces in public areas- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and supply closets- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed- Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service to guests- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent- Previous experience in a housekeeping or janitorial role preferred- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent customer service skills- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for long periods of time- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation guidelines
