Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces, ensuring they meet established cleanliness standards.
• Execute detailed floor care routines such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and performing carpet cleaning to maintain flooring in top condition.
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
• Maintain proper sanitation protocols by disinfecting surfaces, sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens, and managing waste disposal responsibly.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally.
• Manage housekeeping supplies inventory, restocking essentials as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks in larger facilities or hotels to coordinate cleaning schedules and supervise team members.

Experience

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is highly desirable.
• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with hospitality standards.
• Skills in cleaning techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures are essential.
• Experience in laundry operations and handling various cleaning tools and equipment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or guests.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use is important for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Prior housekeeping management experience is advantageous for supervisory roles within larger teams.
