Breakfast Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure a welcoming breakfast experience for guests by maintaining cleanliness, preparing food, and providing excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, supporting guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. The Breakfast Attendant plays a vital role in creating a positive start to our guests' day through attentive service and food presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment
• Restock supplies such as utensils, condiments, and food items as needed
• Assist with food preparation tasks including slicing, plating, and portioning
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met
• Greet guests warmly, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent guest relations
• Clear tables promptly and assist with bussing duties to maintain a tidy environment
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payments
• Support catering or banquet setups when required
• Follow all safety protocols including proper food handling and hygiene practices

Skills

• Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality preferred; including kitchen experience or restaurant work
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and phone etiquette
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques
• Experience with cleaning, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards
• Ability to work efficiently during busy breakfast hours while maintaining attention to detail
• Friendly demeanor with guest relations skills; ability to respond professionally to guest inquiries
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
