Duties
- Prepare and replenish breakfast items, including hot dishes, cold foods, beverages, and accompaniments, ensuring freshness and presentation standards are met.
- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area, including arranging food displays and ensuring cleanliness throughout service.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently for food preparation, such as ovens, toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations.
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to maintain hygiene standards in all food handling areas.
- Provide friendly in-person customer service by greeting guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, equipment, and dining areas regularly to uphold health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy breakfast hours, including catering or banquet setups if required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly preferred; experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining efficiency during high-volume periods.
