Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of residential spaces.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment while adhering to sanitation procedures.
- Manage outdoor work such as patio or garden area tidying when required.
- Operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and janitorial tools.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Implement manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently while managing time effectively to meet scheduling demands.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures including sanitation standards, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and surface disinfection.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and handle cleaning detergents responsibly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work activities, and prolonged standing or walking.
