Highlights

Summary: The Housekeeper shall be responsible for cleaning areas within the both the Baptist Health hospital departments and non-hospital departments. This individual shall complete all tasks assigned efficiently, effectively, and on a daily basis. This position may have additional duties assigned as needed that are within scope of the role. Education / Experience: High School diploma or equivalent, or Alabama Essentials Pathway diploma required. Minimum 1 year work experience preferred. License / Certification: none Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
  
  

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Position requires sitting for 1% of the workday and mobility 99% of the workday.

There is frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.

There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action.

Frequent lifting of 10-50 lbs.and pushing pulling up to 100 lbs.

Must be able to read and write. Must have a visual acuity at close and distant ranges.

Must be able to demonstrate manual dexterity in performance of duties.

Must be able to interact with all levels of peers, customers and management.

Must be able to work safely around chemicals, dust and be flexible with begin and end shift time.
