Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in residential or commercial spaces, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for clients and guests. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Prior experience in cleaning, sanitation, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where professionalism and efficiency are valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout all assigned areas
• Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively
• Assist with floor care tasks including carpet cleaning and polishing hard floors
• Restock supplies and ensure all cleaning tools are properly maintained
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously
• Follow safety protocols related to janitorial and custodial work to prevent accidents or injuries
• Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping management is advantageous
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards and proper use of cleaning chemicals
• Ability to perform laundry duties efficiently and accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and walking long distances within large facilities
• Prior experience in hospitality or custodial roles is a plus but not required; training will be provided

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
