Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage front desk operations including check-in, check-out, and reservation processing using multi-line phone systems.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person with courteous and efficient communication, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details while ensuring data confidentiality.
- Assist with guest services such as providing local information, coordinating special requests, and resolving issues promptly to enhance guest relations.
- Support night audit procedures when required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reports are prepared efficiently.
- Collaborate with hotel management and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold high standards of hospitality management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality management roles, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively.
- Previous hotel experience, particularly at the front desk or in guest services roles, is preferred.
- Knowledge of multi-line phone systems and excellent phone etiquette skills are essential.
- Ability to handle night audit responsibilities when needed, demonstrating attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor and the ability to build rapport quickly with guests from various backgrounds.
- Familiarity with resort or hotel environments and understanding of guest relations best practices is advantageous.
