What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Attendant position at Hampton Inn & Suites Conference Center?
Responsibilities:
- Set up the breakfast area before guests arrive, ensuring that all food and beverages are properly displayed and stocked
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Assist guests with any questions or special requests they may have
- Prepare and serve breakfast items such as coffee, tea, juice, pastries, and hot food items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area throughout the shift
- Monitor and replenish food and beverage supplies as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages
- Assist with banquet or catering events as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
