Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Utilize technical knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Use schematics and blueprints to interpret and repair complex systems.
- Operate a variety of tools and equipment, including an ohmmeter, and utilize mechanical knowledge to perform maintenance tasks.
- Work with logic controllers and other electrical systems to ensure proper operation.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with staff, management, and visitors.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that all facilities and equipment are in good working order.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to extend the life of equipment and reduce downtime.
- Supervise junior technicians and provide guidance and training as needed.

Experience

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with mechanical systems.
- Experience with CMMS systems and the ability to utilize them effectively.
- A strong understanding of electrical systems, including logic controllers.
- Proven customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and visitors.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in a related field is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is a plus.
