Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor polishing to ensure a pristine appearance
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally
- Manage custodial supplies inventory and ensure all cleaning equipment is well-maintained
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to promote a safe environment for everyone
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation practices, and laundry handling
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Experience with housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and cleaning chemicals; certification in custodial or hotel housekeeping is advantageous
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods and moving furniture when necessary
