Position Summary
Hampton Inn is seeking dependable, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Front Desk Associates (2nd Shift) and Front Desk/Night Audit Associates (Night Shift). These positions play a vital role in creating a positive guest experience by ensuring efficient front desk operations, excellent customer service, and accurate administrative support.
Responsibilities
Front Desk Duties
- Welcome guests with professionalism and friendliness
- Assist guests with questions, requests, and concerns
- Register guests by confirming information, processing payments, and issuing room keys
- Manage guest communications, including messages, mail, packages, and special requests
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and nearby services
- Maintain accurate guest and room records
- Process guest charges and collect payments
- Make and confirm hotel reservations
- Communicate hotel policies and procedures effectively to guests and team members
Night Audit Duties (Night Shift)
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours
- Provide exceptional guest service during the night shift
- Complete end-of-day audit procedures and reconcile daily reports
- Process daily financial transactions and charges
- Perform administrative tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills in person, over the phone, and in writing
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
