Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and comfort
• Handle laundry operations efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing while adhering to safety protocols
• Use appropriate cleaning agents and chemicals safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) to ensure a healthy environment for staff and guests
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by executing janitorial tasks with precision and attention to detail
• Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently during incidents or safety concerns to protect guests and staff alike
• Manage heavy lifting tasks related to laundry carts or cleaning equipment safely through manual handling techniques
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order and report any malfunction or safety hazards promptly

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial/custodial roles within hospitality settings
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and floor care techniques to maintain various surface types effectively
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond appropriately during emergencies
• Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required in laundry operations and cleaning duties
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Prior experience in hotel experience or hospitality industry is highly preferred
