Job Summary:
Reporting to: Assistant General Manager and General Manager
Overall purpose of the job: Hotel Front Desk is the first point of contact with guests and handles all informational aspects of the guest experience.
Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include welcoming guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities.
Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable experience for our guests.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all check-in and check-out functions
- Manage online and phone reservations, answer phone the by third ring
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival
- Assign rooms
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with our housekeeping team to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees.
- Up-sell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
- Maintain cleanliness of lobby and lobby restrooms throughout shift
- Restocking of merchandise for sale
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
