Reports To: General Manager / Ownership
We’re hiring an Assistant General Manager with a strong sales mindset to help drive occupancy and rate through local business, while also supporting daily operations and cost control. This role is perfect for someone who can sell during the day and lead the floor when needed.
Sales Support & Local Account Growth
- Execute weekly sales activity: prospecting, calls, site tours, and follow-ups.
- Help build and maintain local corporate relationships and small group opportunities.
- Track production, report activity, and assist with promotions/packages during need periods.
Operational Leadership
- Support daily hotel operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, and Breakfast.
- Coach team members on service standards, cleanliness, and consistency.
- Assist with scheduling coverage and operational problem-solving.
Expense & Process Control
- Help manage labor efficiency (productivity targets, smart scheduling, cross-training).
- Support purchasing controls, inventory counts, and vendor coordination.
- Monitor preventative maintenance items and follow through to completion.
Hilton Standards & Training
- Ensure team training completion and adherence to brand standards and QA readiness routines.
- 2 years hotel leadership experience (Front Office Manager, Sales Manager, AGM, or similar).
- Demonstrated sales ability (local accounts, relationship building, closing business).
- Strong organization, follow-up, and team leadership habits.
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule and stepping into coverage when needed.
- Hilton select-service experience; familiarity with Hilton processes/systems.
- Experience running shifts while maintaining guest and cleanliness standards.
