Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational facilities by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
• Handle cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely and efficiently, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling procedures.
• Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels to support hotel operations.
• Assist with inventory management by stocking cleaning supplies and reporting shortages or maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding courteously to guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping services.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of industrial cleaning practices.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including floor cleaning, stripping, waxing, and polishing using appropriate equipment.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while performing sanitation tasks; familiarity with SDS guidelines is essential.
• Physical capability for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting (e.g., furniture or linens), bending, reaching, and prolonged standing or walking.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest satisfaction.
• Experience with hotel housekeeping management systems or custodial management is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
