Job Title: General Maintenance Worker
Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to maintain the integrity and appearance of our property. You’ll be the "go-to" person for keeping things running smoothly—whether that’s refreshing a room with a new coat of paint, ensuring the grounds are manicured, or performing essential repairs. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty.
Key Responsibilities
- General Repairs: Troubleshoot and fix issues that arise, including basic carpentry, minor plumbing (leaking faucets), and electrical tasks (changing bulbs or fixtures).
- Painting & Refurbishing: Prepare surfaces, patch drywall, and apply paint or stains to interior and exterior walls and equipment.
- Landscaping & Grounds: Maintain curb appeal by weeding garden beds, trimming hedges, and ensuring walkways are clear of debris.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of the building and equipment to identify and resolve issues before they become major problems.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work is done according to safety standards and keep tools/workshops organized and clean.
Shift Hours
- 2-3 weekdays
- Rotating weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
- If student, must be here for 7 week summer break
Pay
- Starting Pay $12.50, increase to $13 after 60-90 days (Depending on performance).
Pay: From $12.50 per hour
