Maintenance Worker Part Time

Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenace of the hotel and equipment. Guest rooms, public space, and all equipment needed to operate the hotel is to be maintained in proper working order at all times. The Maintenance Technician will need to be able to repair and maintain all equipment in the hotel, assist guests, and work with all departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Experience is required in the areas of light electrical, PTACs, plumbing, sheet rock repair and painting, carpet cleaning, trash duty, and other responsibilities. Experience with doors and electronic door locks, air conditioners, and swimming pool is preferred. This team member reports directly to the General Manager and will work some weekends and holidays. Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations during all maintenance activities
• Be able to complete facilities maintenance projects including HVAC, plumbing, electrical repairs, and general building upkeep
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing environments, or related fields
• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Electrical experience including troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on safety and efficiency
