Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest supplies as needed.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine environment.
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties to ensure cleanliness throughout the hotel.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial work within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is an advantage.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and staff members.
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and responsibly.
