Schedule: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM | 24–32 hours per week (3–4 days)
The Evening Houseman/Laundry Attendant plays an important role in ensuring our hotel remains clean, organized, and welcoming for our guests. This position is responsible for maintaining public areas, assisting the housekeeping department, and operating the laundry to ensure linens and towels are cleaned, folded, and stocked.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness of all public areas inside and outside the hotel.
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels.
- Assist housekeeping by collecting soiled linens and stocking clean linens as needed.
- Keep storage rooms, laundry areas, and housekeeping closets clean and organized.
- Remove trash from designated areas and ensure the property remains free of debris.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and lost & found items promptly.
- Inspect public areas and equipment for cleanliness and proper working condition.
- Provide friendly, courteous service by acknowledging guests throughout the hotel.
- Follow all hotel safety procedures, company policies, and emergency protocols.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by hotel management.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently (heavier items require assistance).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Previous hotel housekeeping or laundry experience is preferred but not required.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
