Are you ready to serve in a community where your skills truly make a difference? Hampton County EMS is seeking dedicated, full-time EMTS to join our progressive department.
Position Overview:
As an EMT with Hampton County EMS, you’ll provide advanced pre-hospital care and emergency transportation in a rural setting that values teamwork, professionalism, and public service.
We operate a 911 emergency medical service with occasional interfacility transports, answering approximately 4,000 calls per year.
Schedule: 24/48 rotating shift
Compensation:
- Base Annual Salary: $47,000
- Paid biweekly
- Overtime opportunities available
- Monthly paid in-service training program required and provided
Minimum Requirements:
- National Registry and South Carolina EMT certification required
- Valid SC Driver’s License (Class D with appropriate endorsement preferred)
- Current healthcare provider CPR/AED certification
- EVOC or CEVO preferred; must be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in rural EMS
- Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills
