What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Laundry Attendant position at Hampton by Hilton Gettysburg?
32-40 hours, 4-5 days a week. Mainly Monday-Thursday with an occasional Friday/Saturday and/or Sunday covering vacations. This can be physically demanding requiring a lot of standing and bending. Daytime hours with a flexible start time
Clean Sheets and towels are the cornerstone of a great guest experience. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel and an integral part of our team!
The laundry attendant should possess knowledge of all equipment and how it operates. The position also works closely with housekeeping to ensure proper inventory levels are ready each day.
Duties include but are not limited to: sorting, washing, drying and folding of all hotel linens. (Bedding, towels, shower curtains, etc).
Previous hotel laundry experience a plus, but we will train the right energetic team member.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
