Position Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring crews are prepared and performing, managing job progress, and maintaining company standards across every project.
You will work closely with the Owner and Project Managers to streamline efficiency, improve communication, and deliver a 5-star experience to our customers.
This position is for someone who can lead people, enforce processes, solve problems, and keep the company running at a high level without needing to be micromanaged.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily project operations from start to completion
- Monitor job progress, quality, and jobsite cleanliness
- Hold crews and project managers accountable to company standards
- Conduct morning briefings and oversee job preparation
- Ensure materials, trailers, and equipment are dispatched properly
- Solve problems quickly and communicate effectively with customers
- Enforce safety, chain of command, and installation practices
- Assist with training sessions for new crews and PMs
- Maintain clean workflows between Production, Sales, and Office
- Track KPIs and help improve team performance over time
- Ensure schedules are followed and deadlines are met
- Support overall company growth and operational stability
Requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Roofing or construction management experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple crews and projects
- Problem solver with a calm, confident presence
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to enforce systems and hold people accountable
- Highly organized with attention to detail
