Hamlett Renovations is a Wayne-based residential remodeling company doing kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and full interior renovations across Passaic and Bergen counties. We're hiring a Lead Carpenter to run day-to-day work on our jobs with a helper under you.
What you'll do:
- Run jobsites start to finish: demo, framing, drywall, trim, doors, cabinet installs
- Direct a helper and coordinate with our subs (plumbing, electric, tile)
- Keep jobs clean, on schedule, and communicate with the owner daily
What we need:
- 7 years hands-on residential remodel experience
- Finish carpentry skills — trim, doors, and cabinet installs you'd put your name on
- Own truck and hand tools, valid driver's license
- Can read a plan and problem-solve old-house surprises without hand-holding
