What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter's Helper / Laborer - Residential Remodeling position at Hamlett Renovations?
Hamlett Renovations remodels kitchens, bathrooms, and basements in the Wayne area. We're hiring a helper to work directly under our lead carpenter. This is a learning position — if you want to become a carpenter, this is how you get there.
What you'll do:
- Demo, material handling, site cleanup, tool setup
- Assist with framing, drywall, and finish work as you learn
- Show up on time, every day, ready to work
What we need:
- 1 year on residential jobsites (or serious hands-on DIY you can talk about)
- Reliable transportation to Wayne-area jobs
- Physically able to handle demo and carry material all day
- Someone who watches, asks questions, and wants to move up
