Vice Principal Nottingham High School (Grades 9-12)

NJ Principal's Certificate Required (Standard, Provisional, or CE)
Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience;
Administrative Experience (a plus);
Knowledge/experience with best practices in high school education within a diverse school setting;
Knowledge of block-scheduling, A-Day/B-Day structure, and unit lunch;
Understanding of the role/importance of extra-curricular and athletics within a high school setting;
Knowledge/experience with master scheduling;
Knowledge/experience with administration of state assessments;
Understanding of teacher observation/evaluation process (ie: Danielson);
Understanding of high school graduation requirements;
Knowledge/experience with classroom and building school climate and restorative interventions;
Knowledge of school law, assessment accountability/procedures, and NJ Student Learning Standards;
Willingness to work collaboratively with building and central office administration (in a large district setting).
Bilingual Spanish preferred

Effective: 2026 - 2027 School Year

Salary Range: (prorated from July 1, 2026 per start date)
