Senior Salesforce Engineer / Lead Salesforce Engineer - Remote - Fintech Industry

One of our best clients is a profitable fintech company that is looking to hire a remote Salesforce Engineering Lead. As a Salesforce Engineering Lead you will be responsible for leading a dynamic development team in the design, development, and implementation of scalable, cloud-native services on Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud) in alignment with business goals. Your contribution will empower the firm to continue helping small business owners find lending options so they can make payroll during tough times, scale to meet market demands, and make large purchases to scale their operations. Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the end-to-end service development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables within specified timelines.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to design scalable Salesforce solutions
• Lead and mentor the development team, promote collaboration and continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to established DevOps processes.
• Design, develop, and support end-to-end Salesforce solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and high-performing—including custom development using Apex, Triggers, LWC, and Visualforce, as well as integrations with external systems via middleware and Salesforce APIs.
• Create and maintain technical designs, process flows, architectural diagrams, and related documentation to support Salesforce solutions and guide development efforts.
• Drive agile development practices within the team, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, to ensure efficient delivery and continuous improvement. Conduct code reviews for members on your team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
• 6 years of experience in software development, including roles as a Tech Lead or Senior/Staff Developer, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce development and configuration.
• Extensive experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems, with in-depth knowledge of Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API.
• Strong hands-on experience developing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce and comprehensive unit testing for both Apex and LWC.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling, security, and governance.
• Any Salesforce certifications or experience with Salesforce AI / Agentforce is a plus
