We are looking to add a full-time Senior Azure SQL DBA with deep experience designing,
managing, and administering Azure Managed SQL databases in highly transactional,
cloud-native environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, security, and scalability of database environments while helping establish and maintain database-related best practices. If this sounds like you, please read on!

Qualifications:
- 8 years of professional experience as a Database Administrator, with a strong focus on Azure Managed SQL in production environments.
- Azure SQL Expertise
- SQL Proficiency
- Proven ability to support and optimize databases for high-throughput, low-latency, highly transactional systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with experience supporting production systems and resolving complex database issues.
- Experience automating database operations and deployments using scripts, pipelines, or infrastructure-as-code approaches.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted tools or platforms to enhance DBAworkflows, including query analysis, performance tuning, incident investigation, documentation, or operational automation.
- Nice to Have : Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Table Storage and more. DevOps & CI/CD pipelines for database schema and deployments. Any experience with Azure Monitor or App Insights is a plus, but not required.
