What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Manager position at HAMILTON HOME LOANS INC?
SUMMARY & PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Sales Manager is responsible for assisting the sales management team oversee the sales and operations functions of the assigned mortgage sales team within the branch office for optimal achievement of branch goals. In this position, the Sales Manager will be responsible for originating their own personal loan production as well as assisting the assigned
branch loan officers with their own production and to grow the business and increase production in a specific area.
POSITION-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures origination team is presenting loans at appropriate rate, amounts, terms that comply with program guidelines
- Coach, motivate, and support branch office team to ensure company minimum production standards and strategies are met as established for each Loan Officer
- Advises and assists in resolution of customer complaints concerning the branch office team
- Assists in training and development of loan officers to function in all aspects of the origination process
- Responsible for top performance in customer service
- Maintains personal and team compliance with federal, state, local laws and regulations
- Collaborates with branch operations to assist in the flow of production/sales
- Directly manages at least 2 full time employees handling all performance management including but not limited to managing and approving time sheets, compensation changes, and concessions for those assigned
- Responsible for guiding team with questions to assist with managing their pipeline
SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Must have a current, active NMLS license
- Attention to detail and proven ability to assist branch managers and staff on a loan level
- Possess strong personal computer skills including experience in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- At least 3 years mortgage banking experience, to include a minimum of 2 years mortgage banking sales management experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
