Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Weekend RN Supervisor to oversee our nursing staff and ensure the well-being of our residents. The ideal RN candidate will be a strong leader, capable of managing a team and ensuring that all residents receive their prescribed medications and care with the utmost respect and dignity. As an RN Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining the standards of our care.
Responsibilities of the RN:
- Oversee and manage all nursing staff during weekend shifts, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of nursing personnel to maintain a high standard of care.
- Monitor residents' conditions and ensure they receive prescribed medications and treatments in a timely manner.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Address any issues or concerns from residents, families, or staff promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor the quality of care and ensure all residents are treated with respect and dignity.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for all residents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all nursing activities and resident care.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of New Jersey.
- Experience in a supervisory role preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in electronic health records and other relevant software.
