What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN, Weekend Supervisor position at Greenwood House Home for the Jewish Aged?
PT RN Weekend Supervisor $47
Immediate opening for 3p-11p and 11p-7a shifts, every other weekend and one day per week.
Responsibilities include, and are not limited to:
- Must be proficient with assessing, observing residents’ status & reporting any change immediately.
- Ensure timely and accurate administration of medications and treatments in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliverance of ADLs in accordance with care plans and facility policy.
- Ensure the completion of all daily C.N.A. and nursing assignments.
- Ensure proper and accurate documentation in the EMR.
- Attend care conference as appropriate.
- Verifies daily staffing and redistribution, as necessary
- Makes rounds to assess residents condition, giving special attention to critically ill residents;
- Answers any/all emergencies throughout the shift (i.e., change of resident condition or pronouncement of death);
·Must be able to work well with peers in a congenial work environment, and above all, maintain the utmost compassion and dignity to the residents and adhere to the Resident Bill of Rights.
Qualifications:
- Must be NJ Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
- Must have long term care/post-acute experience
