What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Photographer / Social Media Manager position at Hamilton Exteriors?
Hamilton Exteriors is a roofing company based in Castro Valley. We replace 3 to 5 roofs a week around the East Bay and we want every one of them on camera.
What you will do:
One day a week you will drive a route of that week's finished jobs (3 to 5 homes) and:
* Take after photos of each finished roof
* Get drone shots of the roof and the house
* Record a short interview with the homeowner about their experience
* Grab b-roll of the crew, the house, and the street
* Ask the homeowner to leave us a Google review while you are there
* Edit it all into clean photos and short videos for our Instagram and Facebook
We will build the editing workflow with you. We already use AI editing tools and want a pipeline where you drop in the raw footage and most of the edit is done for you.
What you need:
* Your own camera gear and a reliable car
* Editing skills (Premiere, CapCut, Descript, or similar)
* Comfortable talking with homeowners and putting them at ease on camera
* Drone and FAA Part 107 are a big plus
* Portfolio or examples of your work
Pay and schedule:
* $1,000 per month flat for one full day a week
* Pick a consistent weekday that works for you
* Room to grow into more days as we scale
