Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing chairside assistance, managing patient records, and ensuring a clean and efficient environment. The Dental Hygiene Assistant will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with all safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following aseptic technique and infection control guidelines
- Operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines
- Manage electronic dental records using Eaglesoft (prior exprience is not required)
- Ensure all clinical areas adhere to infection control standards and aseptic techniques for patient safety
Experience
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is not necessary
- Certification or training in X-ray procedures and 3D scanning techniques is a plus
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and infection prevention protocols is essential
