Do you have what it takes to be a Dental Assistant:
- Completion of a Dental Assisting program preferred
- Certification in dental assisting preferred
- Ohio general operator’s license in radiology is required
A day in the life of a HSO Dental Assistant:
- Competently operates standard dental equipment
- Correctly verifies all dental records for updates as needed
- Having appropriate paperwork completed by patients
- Takes patient’s vital signs and any radiographs as needed for the exam
- Understands and accurately communicates instructions, information, and / or concepts according to the hygienist orders
