You will be responsible for managing our school's funds, bank accounts, budgets, and financial records, in addition to overseeing cash flow, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and advising leadership on fiscal policies to ensure long-term financial sustainability.

What You’ll Do
Core Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight & Management: Managing day-to-day financial operations, including cash management, paying bills, depositing funds, and handling payroll.
- Budgeting & Reporting: Preparing the annual budget, creating financial forecasts, and delivering regular, detailed financial reports to the Board of Directors using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Asset Management & Investment: Investing funds according to organization policies and overseeing financial assets.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Maintaining accurate, permanent records of all financial transactions.
- Auditing & Tax: Coordinating annual audits, addressing audit findings, and handling regulatory filings, such as Form 990.
- Strategic Planning: Advising leadership on the financial implications of strategic decisions, including risk management and fundraising efforts.
- Forecasting & Student Trends: Reporting monthly rolling cash flow forecasts, comprehensive five-year projections, and budget-to-actual comparisons.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or economics
- 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to pass required background checks
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and regulations
