JOB OVERVIEW:
The Municipal Civil division processes filings and entries related to lawsuits with damages of $15,000 or less. This position provides services from prejudgment to post-judgment court filings. Specifically, the Case Management Team is responsible for origination of new cases, mailing new cases and garnishments daily, Certificates of Judgments, processing failed certified mail returns, transfer of cases, processing electronic filings and specific assignment commissioner tasks.

Clerical Services (40%)
- Perform various clerical tasks to assist with the efficient operation of the department.
- Assemble forms processed during the work shift in preparation for additional processing, scanning or filing.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Update data for documents into the Case Management System.
- Enters the necessary data to generate notifications by postcard/regular mail.
- Inputting/verifying new cases
- Greet the public and provide exceptional customer service, both in-person, phone and through mail and email correspondence.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Knowledge of:
- No specialized knowledge required.
