Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a material handler position at a manufacturing company in Danbury, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $21 an hour.

Job Responsibilities:
- Moving material in and out of pallet racks using forklifts
- Moving needed materials on time to assemblers using a forklift
- Making labels using MS Word label program
- Taking waste cardboard and lumber to dumpsters
- Assembling and reassembling pallet racks and shelves as needed
- Taking special inventory counts for the buyer or planner
- Packing actuators when needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Forklift experience and previous certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of weighing scales
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge to do weigh counts
- Organization skills to get proper parts to assemblers on time
- Reading and writing skills necessary for making and reading labels
- Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including lifting up to 70 lbs.
- Able to read and write in English
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass pre-employment screenings
