- Safely operate a CDL B licensed box truck, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques or mechanical equipment as needed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking mechanical components, fluid levels, and safety features.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to meet deadlines while optimizing fuel consumption.
- Load various types of trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers depending on daily assignments.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery receipts, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and cargo handling.
Experience
- Valid CDL B license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver in a fast-paced environment.
