What are the responsibilities and job description for the UAS Nurse Reviewer position at HAMASPIK CHOICE INC?
Job Overview:
The UAS Reviewer provides training and support to staff in regards to UAS documentation and responses. This position is responsible to monitor the UAS quality and compliance and reports to the UAS Supervisor.
Essential Responsibilities:
o Review of all UAS assessments which includes:
o Review of all responses and comments in community, functional and mental health assessments for consistency with radial node selections.
o Review cognition for eligibility for CDPAS to ensure CDPAS eligibility meets regulatory criteria
o Review medication for frequency and consistency with Diagnoses
o Review Quality selection and past assessments
o Review chart notes to ensure consistency with assessment selections
o Confirm documentation of member education and distribution of materials regarding health topics as well as services
o Confirm education of benefit including CDPAS
o Confirm functional nodes and community nodes are consistent
o Confirm on IA documentation present for services review, and home status present.
o Review Diagnoses
• Utilize review tools as necessary to review assessment responses
Required Education, Experience, and Licenses:
• NYS Licensed and currently registered as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Two years satisfactory nursing experience in Home Care or Managed Care, desired.
