Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace tires on a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars and light trucks
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid replacements, and basic mechanical inspections
- Diagnose common automotive issues using diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge to identify necessary repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently to complete service tasks
- Assist customers by explaining tire options, maintenance needs, and recommended services with a friendly, professional approach
- Support minor mechanical repairs such as brake inspections, suspension checks, and other vehicle maintenance tasks
Experience
- Prior experience is preferred
- Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures
- Familiarity with standard passenger car operation and basic mechanical systems is essential
- Hands-on experience with automotive fluid replacement, oil changes, and tire service techniques
- Knowledge of vehicle alignment processes and minor mechanical repairs is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently with hand tools and power tools
