Web Designer/Developer

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Web Designer/Developer to join our creative team! Duties

• Design compelling visual layouts using graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD, ensuring alignment with brand identity and usability standards.
• Develop and maintain websites utilizing front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, Bootstrap, and responsive web design principles to ensure optimal performance across devices.
• Implement interactive features and motion graphics using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, or similar tools to enhance user engagement.
• Optimize websites for SEO by applying best practices in content structure, metadata, and site architecture to improve search engine rankings.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to refine interface designs based on data analysis from tools like Google Analytics 360 and web analytics platforms.
• Manage content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or SharePoint for seamless website updates and content publishing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on wireframing using Balsamiq or Axure, information architecture planning with Visio, and UI/UX design to create intuitive user experiences.
• Ensure web accessibility standards are met by adhering to WCAG guidelines and implementing accessible design features.
• Perform website maintenance tasks including troubleshooting issues, updating plugins or scripts (PHP, MySQL), and ensuring security best practices are followed.
• Utilize version control systems like Git for collaborative development workflows while integrating data analysis skills for ongoing site performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in digital design and interaction design with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive websites and visual projects.
• Proficiency in front-end development languages including HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/SASS), JavaScript (AJAX), and frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Skilled in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe XD, InVision, Sketch, and Figma.
• Familiarity with web development tools like Adobe Dreamweaver, Visual Studio Code, or Sublime Text; knowledge of PHP, Python, Node.js is a plus.
• Experience working with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal; knowledge of website maintenance best practices.
• Strong understanding of usability principles, web accessibility standards (WCAG), UX/UI design processes, and information architecture.
• Data analysis skills using Google Analytics 360 or similar platforms to inform design decisions based on user behavior insights.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail in layout design and typography to ensure visually appealing outcomes.
