Looking for a hands-on role where your work truly matters? H.A.L.O. No-Kill Animal Rescue is hiring a Dog Quarantine Caretaker—and we’re searching for someone dependable, hardworking, and genuinely passionate about animal care.
This position is focused on caring for both small and large dogs in our quarantine area, where attention to detail and consistency are key. The regular schedule is:
- Wednesday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Sunday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
There are also opportunities for cross-training in other areas of the rescue, allowing you to pick up additional shifts when coverage is needed—great for someone who enjoys staying busy and learning different parts of operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Keeping kennels clean, sanitary, and comfortable
- Preparing and feeding meals with care and consistency
- Monitoring dogs and ensuring they feel safe, secure, and supported during their stay
What we’re looking for:
- Someone physically capable of bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- A person who can handle a fast-paced, loud, and sometimes messy environment
- A strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to animal welfare
