Water Well Service Tech

Duties

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of water wells and associated equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Conduct routine inspections of well systems, including pumps, pipes, and control panels.
• Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical components within well systems.
• Operate heavy machinery and hand tools safely to access underground wells and perform necessary repairs.
• Document all service activities accurately, including inspections, repairs, and parts used.
• Communicate clearly with clients about system status, recommended repairs, and maintenance schedules.
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements

• Must have experience working with water well systems. This is not a training position.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on electrical components and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically capable of lifting heavy equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an energetic approach to tackling challenges.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications in plumbing or electrical work are advantageous. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
