Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
- Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Conduct custodial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Operate cleaning machinery including floor buffers and other custodial equipment to maintain high-quality floor care and buffing.
- Assist with light maintenance duties such as minor repairs or residential painting tasks to support overall facilities upkeep.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during heavy lifting or manual handling activities to prevent injuries and ensure safe lifting practices.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, safety checks, and supply inventories to support efficient operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments with custodial expertise.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and proper chemical handling safety procedures.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment like floor buffers and other custodial tools effectively.
