Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping.
- Vacuum carpets.
- Restock supplies like paper towels, soap, and other consumables to ensure facilities are fully equipped.
- Follow safety protocols and environmentally friendly cleaning practices to promote a healthy workspace.
- Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Use janitorial and custodial experience to adapt cleaning routines based on the specific needs of each location.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or environmental services environments is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, carpet extractors, and vacuum cleaners effectively.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and environmentally sustainable practices.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
